Default 19 Turn Class at So-Cal?!?!

I was thinking it would be a TON of fun to run a 19 turn class at So-Cal.

Run weight Rules and maybe a spec tire. Sprints?

What do you guys think? Tons of fun.

I thought the stock class there was already a 19 turn!

Actually 19 is a lot of fun.

I think you might be SLOW if you run 19-turn compared to some of the stock motors out there

I might be up for it, though....

You know, I really can't complain about pony power too much. I run crap for motors and can keep up fine. Sure there is a little advantage on the "questionable" characters but for as crappy as my power plant is I wouldn't think anybody is bending rules.

I just thought it'd be more fun (ie: Funner) to go faster than stock, but not have to run full on mod. That's too frigging expensive and wears parts out faster.

Just an Idea. probably won't ever happen. Socal has to many classes now anyway.

If you ever get back to Ultimate, it might be worth a try.

Charlie > If i remember correctly, SoCal did a point series that ran for 4 or 5 consecutive weeks and the motor was 19 turn.

they may want to do that. if you get enough people, socal will do anything. every so often the minis come out and they race.

It wasn't actually a series using a 19turn, it was a series using a mabuchi closed endbell motor. Some were QUITE a bit faster than others....
