17.5 gearing I dunno, depends how hot you wanna get. I'd run it as hot as you feel comfy for traction and the doubles. The store has all the pinions youd need

Thank you everyone who came out raced and supported the track. See you guys next sat.

I had an absolute blast racing for the first time on Saturday! I'll definitely be back!
It's a great store, great track, and a great bunch of racers. As a new racer I didn't know what to expect and I was very surprised by the willingness of the other racers to offer their help to me! Very cool!
I have to thank Jon for answering all of my newbie questions, John for lending me the tires and his pointers, Lance for the spur gear and gearing help, and Pat for answering all of my many questions and helping with my truck setup!
I also need to thank the guy that lent me his soldering iron. I did not get his name, but if he sees this, I really appreciate it.

The track was OK the race program needs a little work there is no order everyone seemed to use reverse. Was a total hack fest and the rules for spec class were totally out there changed every time I asked so hopefully in the next couple weeks you guys pull it together other keep up the hard work it will be a great track.

The race program and track will be smooth and consistent.

Il be honest that's why I never liked actual stock classes it turns into more money because it's a better lipo or tires of the mouth/motors etc . A lot of tracks just drop it and run mod 2wd /open classes .
4wd sc or 4wd buggy or 2wd mod has always been open and seems to work better .

I'm sure you will get everything worked out always run a b main first and never back to back with its a main and if you have that many young kids they should have there own class no adults and for the novice adults can have there own class. I'm only giving you ideas so don't take offense I've been running races for a long time and seen a lot of tracks fail. Good luck I'll be up for the winter racing.

Also come up to our outdoor track so you can get a feel for it some time I'll let you run for free for the night and you can get some ideas off our layout and you can see our track guy he's a master at building I'll definitely spread the word to our racers and send them up your way.

Just a reminder to everyone in two weeks (saturday july 26th) were having our Xmas in july race for TOYS FOR TOTS the summer race fees are 12 dollars for the first class and 8 dollars for the second class so bringing a BRAND NEW unwrapped toy of equal value for your first and second class will cover your race fees for the day each racer will also receive a hot dog, bag of chips, and a drink with your race entry. Its for a good cause and theres free food hope to see you guys at the track Saturday July 26.

Nice work on the track Buggy kid - big improvement. Had fun running saturday, and the sonic gift card was a nice bonus. Always a nice crowd at Railyard and also had the pleasure of pitting next the vantard and his son...that alone was worth the price of admission. For those that don't know, vantard needs a lot of elbow room lol.
