What are the hot tires for 2wd SCT and 2wd buggy? Looks like the weather will be colder this year than last.We don't have that type of surface in our area so sort of in the dark on what will work.

we are liking gold barcodes, typos or handlebars in clay or soft compounds for 2wd. Beams or pressure points do well on the short course

Question, after you purge the names of those who didn't pay by the 29th will we be able to add a class if there is an open position?

Hey Rod and Big Mike. Hope you guys had a good holiday and hope New Years is good to you too.

I got hit with the dreaded "purge" on rcsignup, so I signed up again this evening. Please don't purge me again!!! I will be running pro4 sct. I don't do the whole credit card on the internet thing, but i do cash pretty good!!!

I already have a room booked for Wed- Sunday, and the time off work!! I hope i didn't do all that for nothing! I've been signed up since the beginning of November, so please save a spot for me!!!

Looking forward to the races!

Thanks again,
Daniel

Racers, the CRCRC Winter Midwest Champs race starts in just over a week. A couple of reminders for the race based on some recent questions.

We do require that you have a personal transponder, there will not be house transponders.

We plan to use the new AMB RC4 decoder system for this race. That means the 3-wire my laps transponders will work but the older MRT transponders will not work.

Reminder as we have stated previously, Stock classes will require a speed control that has and is operated in blinky mode. A speed control that has no boost capability is also okay if proven by the driver at registration. ESC that have boost turned off but no blinky mode will not be allowed this year as it is too difficult to check.

Also, as like last year Stock class motors must be 17.5 and ROAR legal. This means like last year, large wire or oversized rotors will not be allowed. Unlike last year, motors may be teched at registration prior to qualifying.

In 2wd buggy, any 1/10th scale wheel will be allowed including the Evo wheel.

The posting here on RC TECH says that practice starts at 1:00PM on Wednesday, but on your website it says 3:00PM on Wednesday when the doors open...

Curt said today that his doors will open at 1pm and that on track practice will not start until 3pm. Gives you time to set everything up.
