Festivus Grand Prix @ Horsham RC - December 13-15th, 2013
 

Horsham RC, home of the 2013 ROAR On-Road Carpet Nationals, is happy to announce a "big" race for the 2013-2014 season! We will be holding a three day race from Friday, December 13th 2013 to Sunday, December 15th 2013 -- the Festivus Grand Prix -- A Festivus (race) for the rest of us!!

While at the Festivus Grand Prix enjoy the:
- unadorned aluminum "Festivus pole"
- "Airing of Grievances"
- "Feats of Strength"
- "Festivus miracles"

Schedule:
Friday, December 13th - open practice starting at 12pm, then controlled practice by class at 5pm
Saturday, December 14th - 7am doors, 2h open practice, then 3 qualifiers
Sunday, December 15th - 7am doors, 45m open practice, then 1 qualifier + mains

Race Format:
Qualifying: IFMAR qualifying using Qual Points - Best 2 of 4
Mains: Triple A-mains for all classes with greater than 10 cars

I should have plenty of work related grievances to air by mid December...no better place to do it than the festivus grand prix!!

I foresee a lot of "airing of grievances" as cars traction roll their way into the fence, and numerous "feats of strength" as top drivers battle for TQ...:lol:

Can't wait for this one - this could easily be the highlight of my holiday season!:D

Can not wait for this race. Going to be a blast, and I like the idea of using qualifying points. It rewards consistency.
