Would you guys consider making it rocket round? OR, splitting qualifying rounds evenly between Saturday and Sunday?

The way it is setup, it makes it impossible for someone who can't make both days to even have a shot to make the A.

I can't be the only person in this situation and it just equates to the race losing entries.

I had planned on running Sunday qual. and just getting shuffled into a low main.(not likely I would make the big show anyway..)

A rocket round or extra early Sunday round would help out for sure (and possibility bring in more racers)....but I would guess that would mess up things for folks who were able to commit to the whole weekend of racing.

I will be there either way...as track time is track time (and I don't want to miss out on the Festivus fun)

Won't be able to attend the practice sessions on Friday either. The qualifying format doesn't affect the outcome in my case, but rocket round qualifying might help a few people that can't make all 3 days.

My vote is for a 1 day race...with rocket round qualifying, single "A" mains Might be a long day but everyone will show

Me 5. I can't make all 3 days, but would love to come on Sunday if Rocket Rounds is an option.

+1 and make it Saturday so we finish when we finish and that way maybe everyone can go.

So are you guys asking to fit 4 quals and triple A mains into one day? just wondering? I don't represent the track so I'm just looking for info. If that is the case the race day needs to start at 9am and no practice. Just remember Friday is practice in the current format so no one needs to show up its voluntary.

Talked to some of the crew a bit about this. The race was no big surprise.... It's on/been on the schedule...it will be fun. Can't argue with that one bit.

I was stating my personal issues with attending the race...and if there was some sort of option to maybe advance yourself other than the lowest main if you could not make both days..well that would be cool.
For me it's going to end up being a throw away weekend as far as results go (fun will still be had). It is just disappoint for me and my situation not any sour grapes.
Maybe I should have not chimed in (sorry guys).

I will say..if anyone can pack extra rounds/tracktime/mains into one raceday without causing any headaches for the racers...This past weekend was beyond proof that Horsham can pull it off.

You already cost Orlando twice. You going to make it 3 times? Some people never learn.

Can I pay upon entry?

Better yet, can I pay this weekend at the track? I don't have a paypal account and do not want to set one up. I don't trust any site with my account info. I'd rather pay cash or a cheque.

Simply moving one of the 3 rounds on Saturday to Sunday so it's 2 rounds each day is the easiest way. Takes nothing away from the guys that can be there both days and gives the guys who can't make both days an "outside shot" to make the show. The guys who can't make both days will be severely underhanded with almost no practice and no "throwaway" rounds but if someone wants to take that shot why not ? If nothing else it would add some excitement and entries !!

I hear ya. Just remember there quite a few regulars that can't make Sunday at all. As you well know there is no way to please everyone. I know I'll be there and I hope to see lots of the regulars there too. I don't represent the track so I'm just trying to understand people's issues. I'm not a fan of qual points because it's burned me before but that was the choice of the track.

Default mod

Hi guys,

I am probably going to be able to make this one chances are good hotel is booked, now any idea if mod 1/12 will happen ? I know there are not so many guys running the class but I am just curious to see how many it takes to run it as I would really like to run the class to do some testing.

I would be bringing 2 more guys with me from here running both TC stock and mod for them.

Keven-

It is great to hear you are coming! If there is any hope of a 1/12th scale mod class --- you've now helped create the interest! Call it out guys---

I'd PAY to see a Keven vs Donny re-match in mod 1/12th.
