While we are all waiting for the race wrap up report from Paposwing, here's the quote of the day for you all to enjoy. It was from Duane to his son Owen, who had a great run in the EBuggy C Main to bump to the B. Owen had just gotten some great air off of the last jump on the front straight and landed it very nicely. Duane says " nice dude...now don't do that again"

Great time sunday!
I did the same thing a few times... kinda wish my Dad was there to tell me not to! Maybe I would have placed as well as Owen did then...

Had a great time up there! Let's coordinate schedules next season and get some more BIG events together!

Oh ok . I just thought there wasn't one because I did not see a race on the calender .

Mar: I would think about going to your track if you had racing this weekend but you don't . I was going to last weekend .

Default ***Updated*** Schedule for the JConcepts Fall Nats at RC Excitement

***UPDATED*** Okay, here's the math! ***UPDATED***

By the nearly final count of pre-registered racers for the JConcepts Fall Indoor Nationals at RC Excitement next weekend we will have a projected 45 heats per round. Each heat race is 5 minutes, and with the up and down of the drivers, checking in of the cars, and the marshals getting on the track, it will likely be 7-8 minutes for each race (less when we're really rolling). That would mean about 6 hours per round, or roughly 12 hours of racing on Saturday. With a 9am start time for racing we should be able to get the first 2 rounds of qualifying done by 9pm Saturday night. Sunday which will include a Prize Session and extended A Mains, we should be looking at roughly 13 hours of racing. With an 7am start time we should be doing awards by 8pm Sunday night. That is the current well laid plan that I believe will work well for all involved. We have 2 announcers this years, and with the drivers of the Northeast and the one traveling in being seasoned racers we should have no problem staying on schedule.

With the overwhelming response to this years race we will be running a tight ship on pit spaces so that we can fit everyone in. Each racer will be asked to use only 4' for their pit space. That would mean 4 racers per 4' x 8' pit table, 2 racers per 8' "banquet" style table, or a 4' table you bring from home. Simple math for people with 6' tables, (2) 6' tables side by side equals 12', that's enough room for 3 racers. As usual the carpet track will be covered for additional pitting, and outlets will be available. We do have roughly 120 available pit spaces, but with the number of entries/racers attending we are going to fall short. If you are driving in locally and can do so, please bring a table, chair, power strip, and extension cord with you. Even if you do get there early and do get a pit space, it's better to have your pit equipment with you just in case and leave it in the car, than it is to not have it and need it.

It's Going to be AWESOME!!!

***NEW*** Schedule for next weekends 2013 JConcepts Fall Indoor Nationals
