(c) Canada and USA

In Mexico there is a sanctioning body for the lower part of Mexico, Brazil, etc. Racers that may be closer to the boarder of the USA is currently being decided if to include that area as well.

To sum it up in one sentence. Is this pretty much the same thing as roar?

No, it is different. While the rules themselves will be much the same as those rules are based on the ifmar rules for certain aspects of vehicles,

ROAR has gone to in-house testing and verification.
RCRAA will use independent qualified facilities for testing.

ROAR Race operations have had some issues with how tech is handled
RCRAA will stick to the same rules for all racers regardless of skill or accomplishments.

ROAR is using just a regional and National race program
RCRAA will have state level racing, regionals, nationals and an all star race that will showcase more track locations and provide more racing.

RCRAA will offer education programs that tracks can setup to help get new kids and interested ones involved in the hobby.

It is our goal to progress the hobby and grow the sport that we all love.

So is this new ruling body supposed to supplant ROAR while ROAR still exists? Or are these two ruling bodies supposed to coexist?

Most off-road races sell out.

What are your plans if any to help grow on-road?

Ok, so if I may, why set up an entirely new organisation? It seems to me like you could accomplish the things you wanted to as part of ROAR, with a lot less leg work to set things up from scratch and without splitting the racing population. ROAR holds elections for positions. Why not run a campaign for ROAR office based on your policies?

I do think there are some rules that need to be shored up and clarifyed better with roar and in house testing to me is not good as even if they are honest it leaves questions.

I really hope that you can grow state level racing and help grow the sport as I really think roar is missing the boat on this. Look at motocross for example and how they rank you. I have been saying this for awhile that we need a grass roots type system where your regular races count towards something and making it to the nationals or worlds isn't just handed to you because your name its earned through first local club races then state then region then national then worlds and to have a east west shootout would be awesome and truely grow this sport to be televised more then on the internet I beleive.

And on the rules why not just make it 17.5 no timing period on the esc or can locked rotor.

Also would like to see in the future a place that would help people wanting to start a track buisness because there are alot of places that don't have tracks around and who knows the next best racer might be there.
