Kevin,

Forgive me for not knowing the class rules, I have never seen them before please explain.

For example can I run a "blinky" 17.5 in the SCT 13.5 class? What the difference between pro/prolite?

No 4wd buggy?

Entery fees?

Pit space(needed items)?

All information is needed for The Compound crew.

Thank you for your time,

Dekar

I'm more of the event promoter than the race organizer.. but I will see if I can get some of these answered for you.

Pro vs. Pro-Lite is experience. Pro-Lite is for like more intermediate drivers, where Pro has some blazing fast guys in there.

4wd buggy is listed on the flyer. It's an open class. They don't show up weekly, but guys around have them.. so if everyone brings them, we'll be running the class.

Pit space, there's enough for 80+ guys. There really isn't room to setup your own table. I'd bring a pit light, maybe a chair (although I hear we are getting chairs for the event). Power strips are always useful, as are extension cords but you may not need that.

I'll work on finding out the rest asap.

As for tires, a lot of guys run the usual clay tires, bar codes.. suburbs.. wishbones even? Anything that works at the compound I'd think would work here. I see what others are running as well.

Feel free to join the event page on FB. You can ask questions there too.

After weekend bump.

For the 17.5 in 13.5 class, yes that is legal.

For those on the fence if they want to come out for this.. please do!

I've been getting the door prizes in all week and it's insane how much support we have.

Every entry gets a CNY WB Shirt plus eligible for the TON of door prizes we have and will be giving away all day.

Here is a video hoping they High Octane R/C will change their rules to allows some sponsored racers to attend their events. I am referring to allowing a mod SCT class vs. a motor limit SCT. More great races, like the one I posted below, could happen more often. Great race between the track favorite Spencer and Brian Roeder, this was Roeder's first trip to High Octane R/C.

The Compound Crew went up and ran a couple times at this track. It should be a good race with a lot of good competition.

Thanks for the comments.

Another part of this event just announced.

Anyone in CNY own an EXO? Should have done this sooner.. On top of the giving away like $3k just in door prizes, Awards for Top 3 in A mains, winners in lower mains... We're doing something cool with the help of Axial. Click the link for details.

Most guys run clay compound suburbs, rattlers, or bar code type tires. Its a hard packed clay track with little to no dust.
