my 8th scale is only good for a straight line , and I have a 12t triple in my tlo1 and it was fine but it is old the first ones ever made. all steel and heavey plastic i still have it and it smooth as anything. with a 12t it was still very slow. about as fast as a clodbuster with mod motors.

the farmingdale movie theater could be a good track remember the parking lot that I was going to at nite. rent it from the movie theater but to make it a permanent track would be pushing it as people will destroy it.

Nothing permanent.... The asphault there is good for MT's, not TC's.... I'm going to scope out Farmingdale College.... It's not going to be permanent either....

hmmmmm.... smooth asphalt, the parking lot in my HS in the back is REAL smooth. Not exactly big, and I don't know how they would feel about it... just a suggestion... Allan, wouldn't it be cool to take the track at my HS and use that? Bleachers, really high, and it's a nice oval.. one day me and you will run them there... even if security asks us to leave, we'll run em anyways... hahah

the parking lot i mentioned is very smooth just has to be cleaned. O another question for any monster truckers out there. does anyone know someone the works for the town and i mean know them very well "connected" there is a huge area off robbins lane in hicksville/syosset that is filled with dirt. some mounds like 2ft tall and the gate always seems to be open. I think we should try to get them to allow us in there or rent it for the day.

Don't disallow Nassau CC. They are familiar with RC racing and are open to the idea.

Nothing permanent this year (way too late to start) but if we are organized enough maybe next year.

Don't anyone kid themselves. If we really want this it will take a huge effort from everyone for this to work.
