Very sad to say I won't be able to make this event. So many good times there!
Best to all, hope it's a blast.

Last race at the c
I had a great time running mini. The coliseum was/is(for a little time longer) the best indoor asphalt track on the east coast. Todays track surface was perfect. It was perfectly clean and tacky.
There was a very light turnout for the send off race (2 heats, total of 9 racers.) Let's hope that the low turnout was simply the result of having the last race on a holiday weekend, although I did think that more racers would show up to support the last race, regardless of track condition or race promotion.
Finally, I want to thank Richard, Debbie, and hobbytown for giving us a great place to race for all of these years (coliseum opened 2/2005), and wish him luck in his new location.

Saturday was a fun day of racing. The turn out of people was in deed low but the racing was great. I Was glade too see the people that did show up to race and also the ones that came in just to say hello and see the races for the last time here at Hobby town. David you are up one in minis, but we are not done.
Thank you to Richard, Debbie, casey and all others that worked too keep the track up and running over the years.

I had a great time racing with all of you yesterday, especially my Father. Yes, it is 2 to 1 in my favor in Mini. Being that I just started racing Sept 2012, I will never let you live it down! lol. Thanks again for helping me get back into the hobby. Also, a special thanks to everyone who helped me get better along the way(you know who you are).
Yesterday was a strange day at the Coliseum. It almost felt as though I lost a friend in my local track. I hope it doesn't mean the loss of the camaraderie of all the great racers I had the pleasure of trading paint with. I am sure my Father and I will be out to race again but, who knows where, or when. Where ever it is I hope to see you all there. There will be no experience like the Coliseum. The place I started.
Thanks again to all the Hobbytown staff and ownership. It has been great!
