Thanks G. Schooling me on and off the track!

I am so glad that everybody decided to race indoors instead of outdoors at 9 am saturday obviously the little bit of rain we had was so much worse then the heat we have been having. Yeah man it rained so hard all day long that we couldnt possibly set up the track to race kinda seems to me that the decision was made well in advance. I dont know about everybody else but some people need to man up and deal with the weather its gonna be hot and its gonna rain like we havent raced in the rain befor it is called a rain delay ever heard of it. Thats the end of my rant have a good work week.

Im all for racing outside, trust me. I for one am glad the next race at the C is outdoors. But at some point you have to be realistic. Last week was 105*. For you and me, we can handle it, but for some of the guys we race with that is a real health hazard. Yesterday at MRH it rained until about 10am, which means by the time the pavement would be fully dry and the track would be set up, it would be 12 or 1pm before the track is even set up, which means we wouldnt get started until 2-3 with track prep and practice and getting the entries sorted. With the number of people who were there, it would have been midnight or later before we were finished (it was 9pm when we were done racing indoor starting on time!). Again, for you and me that isnt terrible (though really late), but there were a bunch people who travelled quite a distance to be there yesterday, and they either wouldnt have been able to race at all, or wouldve had to leave early and would have had a bad time because of it. Due to those factors, I believe the correct decision was made yesterday even if it didnt rain the rest of the day. See you this saturday, outdoors
