Large Scale Nats June 8-10 RCHaM Winsted, CT
 

Yep, you heard it here first. No Bajafest going on in the northeast this year so we're gonna take up the slack and give all of ya'll large scalers something to look forward to this summer.
I'll get the rules posted up tomorrow, but here is the flier........more sponsors to be added.

Off road track is nearly 100%. Get your large scales down her and give her a rip. Gonna start on the oval next. Less than 8 weeks to go. Looking like we should expect a pretty big turnout. :D

Information needed
 

Will you post if there is any racing scheduled before the large Scale National at this location? And if so when please. i would like to come run a bit before this event. Also so the address of the track and the Hotels that are available thanks. An address that a GPS can be used.

Track and shop are located at 200 New Hartford Rd. Winsted, CT 06098

1/5 scale offroad club racing will be going on every other Saturday. We will be holding the opener for the offroad track within the next 2 weeks.
The oval and Drag will not be ready til the week of Nats.

Best bet for hotels will be in Torrington.

the comfort inn in torrington is almost exaclty 10 minutes from the track, 15 if you drive slow.

there's also the yankee peddler hotel if you are into old world charm, the place is supposedly haunted too! really cool old building.

might seem a bit further, but they are basically a straight shot down the road from us.

There will also be plenty of folks camping out for this event and I'll be patrolling the grounds with a big stick and a bigger brown dog so fear not if ya wanna rough it.:D

There will be a large mobile rest room (24' trailer) on site. Also we will have a 20kv generator supplying power into the evening. Oh yeah for late night racing we plan to have lighting to cover BOTH the oval and off road track. :nod:
