Advice would be great - returning to hobby
I'm returning to RC after 10 years. I raced at Englishtown for a long time and enjoyed it greatly.
The lure of brushless brought me back to the hobby and I plan to race the used tc6 I've just bought. I have some basic question, perhaps some of you more experienced folks can weigh in. I want to hit the ground running!
What does blinky mean?
There seems to be a 17.5 and 13.5 class, I assume these are stock motors? and number of turns (13.5 is faster?)
What battery and inexpensive charger do you recommend?
Thanks so much!

the weekly class that is popular is 17.5 blinky. i wouldn't recommend starting with something faster than that. the lower the number -- the faster the motor.
batteries and chargers are always a good question. batteries are constantly changing. i would really recommend waiting until your about to go racing before you buy batteries. every few months things change.
most racers use a DC charger -- and thus they need a power supply. this can make getting a basic charging setup more expensive. there are some "funster" chargers that are AC/DC such as http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN4064
