2012 ALABAMA MANUFACTURER SHOOTOUT 3.0

This event started off in 2010 as one of the biggest, most supported events in the world, 2011's AMS was bigger, better, and had even more factory support on tap. The work has started again and many of the largest companies are back on board and supporting the racers even more for 2012! Here are some focus points of the AMS: Super Convienent, two major airports within 45 minutes away. Food, hotels, shopping just minutes away. The best dirt in the business by far! This track is built well and the dirt gets better and faster! No work needed even with 500 entries on it! Tons and Tons of prizes handed out. AMS has over 60 major sponsors each year! No snow, no weather worries, just warm weather. Covered pit areas. Great Ventilation. Factory reps and Industry companies on tap for support and info. The best drivers in the world. PRO/OPEN/INTERMEDIATE Classes. Huge Numbers in Electric 1/8 and Short course Classes. Ran by the popular Jimmy Babcock of the JBRL series. stay tuned racers and when this one hits www.rcsignup.com make sure to get signed up and paid. race dates
Guys, we are talking to Roar to establish when the Roar Electric/Nitro Nationals will be held. We do this because many of the drivers attend all of these events, as well as our Race Director is involved in all of the events.
The last two years it has been in June. We look for it to be around the same time so stay tuned. Remember guys, the race will fill up 2-3 months before the actual date of the event with paid entries. Last year we had over 500 entries and had a total of 800 entries trying to get in. I wish we could take them all but we can't. If you plan to come to this event get paid up soon! We do not take entries at the event. Thanks! |

I am so looking forward to the 2012 AMS 3.0!!!! I was not able to make the first AMS and after attending the 2011 AMS I knew what a mistake I made by not being able to attend the first one. With nearly 500 entries, and my heat being 2 or 3 races from the last one.....I was able to get my stuff packed up and was able to be at a restaurant by 10PM hanging out with some really cool racers (Jamey Powell, Ryan Lutz, Taylor James, Alex Pilson and some others). After that I was able to get back to the motel for a good night sleep before starting the mains.
As Alan said this event is getting bigger and better each year, and 2012 will be no different. It will also be bigger and better with the returning of the sponsors and NEW sponsors that are already signed up. Layout voting!
Once again, just like the previous two years I'll be drawing up some layouts. I'll put two layouts online in the forums and these two will be available to vote on one of the major forums. The last two years it was www.neobuggy.net
The layout with the most online votes will be the layout that goes in. The Track sizes is about 100x170 and we have so far been able to put in some awesome flowing layouts! Stay tuned for this! |

Sign up time.....
Racers, the Alabama Manufacturer Shootout is going Live and online Today! The first year we had almost 650 racers paid to try to get in, we could only take 450.
In 2011 we had 800 paid racers waiting to get in and were only able to fill heats and take in 490 entries. I expect it to be huge again this coming year so get ready. When I post the link to sign up, make sure you get your name on the list. Get PAID as well. We will provide you with a "REFUND" deadline date. This means you can pay now and plan it out. If for some reason you can't make it you will have to this certain date to get your m oney back. We fill the spot with someone else on the waiting list. Make sure your info is correct on rc sign up. We will provide you with a paypal address and mailing address when it's time. Almost time to get it going! |
Last years Refunds
Racers,
We get lots of emails leading up to and after the AMS event. It's a huge task to sort them out, respond, etc. Each year we learn a bit more than the last on how to manage a event of this size. If you followed "ALL" of the procedure to get your refund this past June and could not make the AMS but did not get a refund please email us now before things get crazy and we will take care of you. I just need a simple email with the following: Subject: 2011 AMS REFUND(FIRST/LAST NAME) Paypal address or payment method used(If Check give us number) Date Paid and Date you requested refund(previous email) Paypal address that you wish for the refund to be sent to.
