Default Noob question

Hello!

I have a few 1/10 scale RC cars 2wd buggy and 2wd ST. Both electric. brushless/lipo.

A couple of buds of mine just picked up 1/8 scale Nitro Ofna Hyper 7's.

Now I want 1/8. However I am very comfortable with electric, I fly and drive electric RC and wish to remain in the electric game.

Are 1/8 electric buggies like the RC8e capable of racing in long races with nitro RC cars? This is my one big draw back is the half hour race with refuel.

How is this handled and what do your tracks offer for 1/8 scale running. Do nitro and elec run together and generally how long are the race. I want to be able to still run with my buds in races should I just go nitro?

I also see elec conversions for most nitro cars and am wondering also if elec 1/8 is taking over. Which is more popular? Thanks

your buds should go electric

most places I have been to run 10 min A mains for ebuggy...some do triple A mains to =30 mins....you can run an ebuggy against nitro...but the battery change and heat are drawbacks to the longer runs.
