See you then,

Is there going to be enough indoor pit spots or are some people pitting outside? I just am trying to plan what we bring. There are 3 of us "Barn" guys coming together and space is running out inside the truck. Don't know if we should bring the EZ up or not.

I called the facility a few weeks ago and they advised that there will be plenty of pit spots available, and even if they run out they can open up the onroad pit area for even more spots.

X2, RCE has plenty of indoor pitting. Gotta love electric with diluting the racing via multiple classes...with 10 classes 250 entries equals 60-75 actual human racers in 3-4 classes. Pitting will not be a problem.

I love to see you snoopin' Justin! You going to make the race? Awesome Electric layout down and ready just how you like it. ;)

By the way, there is going to be more like 130 actual humans, but we do have more than enough room to accommodate everyone. No EZ-up required.

One more thing... I paid when I signed up thru RCsignup but it shows that it is not paid on there. Can you confirm that you received payment. If not I will check into it. Thanks. My real name is Jim Hustins.

Jim, we got ya! There are a bunch of people that have paid, yet none of the payments show through RCSignup.

If anyone else has paid its likely we have it marked down. Not a bad idea to bring a receipt with you just in case, we can also look it up online here at the shop.

What are the Rules for the "Super Stock Class"??

Just the 17.5 motor limit??

rcexcitement 09-23-2011 12:21 PM

I was thinking about running the 17.5 buggy class instead of mod. I've only run a 13.5 or 10.5 in it and don't think I have any pinions larger than 30 for the 17.5 class. Sounds fun though... Honestly I'm not fond of the idea of being run over by all the Pros in the mod class :lol:

Oh, I'm running both 2wd Mod with my B4.1 and 2wd 17.5 with my Vintage RC10....:sneaky:

I don't worry about getting run over by the pros, I'll be running in the D-Main getting run over by the rest of the Amateurs....:D

Jim Hustins 09-25-2011 08:20 AM

For the local racers who run Suburbs, does the M4 or MC compound work better at your track? Thanks.

nikos2002 09-25-2011 05:37 PM

Angelo, Johnny LoGiudice won 2wd modified last year with a 10.5 in his TQ car. 2 other TQ drivers made the 2wd A Main with 10.5's also. So you don't have to have crazy motors - unless you really want.

Awesome. I'm not good enough to handle anything faster than a 10.5 anyway :D I'm just gonna stick in Mod, it will be lots of fun regardless.

DaveG28 09-25-2011 09:47 PM

Makes me think I may have gone a bit nutty on motors, I have 6.5 for 4wd and 7.5 for 2wd!

Cjpr87 09-26-2011 05:14 AM

Few more days!!!

Asharus 09-26-2011 07:09 AM

Yep, can't wait.... I'm heading up on Thursday morning to check out their club race. It is going to be an excellent 4 day weekend.

jimmyjames7o7 09-26-2011 07:33 AM

Ran the track again yesterday and the traction is starting to come up and should be great by the weekend, we are back to burning and gripping.
Again wire to wire racing will be the case as the track is fast.
For those wondering motor size you will need some HP if you want to get over the 5 pack (Not a must do). In 2wd A well geared 9.5 should do the job possibly 10.5 Looking for low 17 sec possible mid 16 with 2wd.
