R/C Pro Series at CRC Raceway in Rome, NY - June 24-26, 2011

Just a quick thread to welcome all the Rctech members to the 6th Annual R/C Pro Series event at CRC Raceway and Hobby in Rome, NY (just east of Syracuse). We are expecting another classic battle with some of the finest offroad drivers on the east coast descending upon the newly configured offroad track.

Again this year, top offroad driver Billy Fischer from Arizona will bring his factory Durango to central NY to take on the usual cast of characters from the northeast. In addition to Fischer, we typically see drivers such as Kelby Roberts, Losi's Anthony Mazzara, Mark Christman, Jamie Grayek, Barnstomer's Chris Systma, R/C Driver's Greg Vogel, Mark Smyka, Mark Calandra, Tom Firsching, Brian Wynn, Jimmy James, Matt McCreadie, Mike Wilder and Jay Bless, just killer competition. Top driver Vince "the voice of reason" Stewart should be on hand as well to offer his driving skills and exciting commentary on the event.

In addition to the Connecticut and Massachusetts drivers, bring on the very fast western NY FTR/Glenwood drivers of Dan Black, Cory Pullman, Justin "J-Dub" Williams, Brian Bellinger and Rapid Rick Redmin. From the north, we expect to see Canadian "wheel" Ben Wheeler, Jay Christiano, Dave Henry, George Stiliadis, Daniel Yachnin, Abiye Birku and Tillsonburg T.Q. Kyosho driver from Quebec, Jerome Treignier. Onroad star driver Paul Ciccarello from Serpent will be joining us from the Cleveland area as well.

For the past 3 years, this yearly event has drawn over 200 entries. With CRC Raceway centered around all this talent, this event has turned into an east coast "national" event, a clinic in offroad racing.

Remember, while the R/C Pro Series at CRC Raceway will feature some highly experienced racers, the Pro Series has a class for every skill and vehicle, so come and enjoy the event. We have classes for 1/8th Buggy, Truggy, E-buggy, 1:10th 2wd + 4wd Short Course and Stadium.

At CRC Raceway, we have the following amenities; stocked hobby shop, free camping, fresh drinking water, 5600 watts of lighting, dual track water system, AC power, air compressor, on-site food, FM transmitter, 13 speaker, 200 watt P.A. system and a dedicated race management team. New for 2011, we have increased the size of the drivers stand easily accommodating 17 racers and a new "sky box" has been built for the race management team. Also, the track has been expanded and we now have free WiFi in the pits. All the comforts a racer could ask for. Come join us for some great racing, good food and good times.

For anyone looking for a nice one day trip on this Saturday 6/18, CRC Raceway in Rome NY is hosting a "Sunday Series" race. With Sunday being Father's Day, we are running Saturday afternoon. Practice from 11-4, Driver's meeting 4:15 and racing at 4:30. This race will be on the new layout for the RC Pro Series the following weekend. We should be done by 8:30-9:00 so you guys will be able to get home at a somewhat decent hour. We will be running nitro buggy, nitro truggy, 13.5 2wd short course, 4wd open short course, 10.5 stadium truck, and if we get enough 1/8 E Buggy will have their own class. If not, they will run with the nitros, same applies with e-truggy. (for the Pro series, E-Buggy will be its own class, and their is no e-truggy).

We have entries coming from Buffalo, Ithaca, and Canada so it will be a pretty dialed Pro Series warmup.

Any questions, feel free to post or e-mail [email protected].

he'll still prolly out run you and your wacker.

"wacker".... because everything else is soft core

the big dump......king of all things wack.

this just in....brian wynn of rome new york just named chief wacker at crc.

i've heard of fetish before, but no one likes a big dump on their wacker.

nobody wacks it like the dump.

wacker and wynn, a combination that cant be "beat".

frank would save alot of gas money in the wacker if just had brian run his big fat ass around the track to compact it.

when your feeling down, a ride on the wacker always helps.

hey dumper, go get your wacker and MEAT me at the track.

dumper rides the wacker on a weekly basis.

wacking the day away at crc.

hey mandy, my back hurts from riding the wacker all day....could you come rub it out?

when all else fails.....wack it.

saddle up on the wacker, big boy.......you got work to do.

i dont always go for ride...but when i do, its on a wacker.

wacker....because you can.

nothing gets it harder than wacking it.

nothing beats a good hard day on the wacker.

looks to me like dumper has a dirty wacker.

ok, frank, im done filling orders.... you want me ride the wacker?

hey wopper, cover the phone for me, i'll be out back riding the wacker.

hey frank, i think there's somthing wrong with the wacker, you wanna take a look?

with love........from your buddy.

Here is the brand new layout. We will try to get better shots this weekend.

We couldn't fit the the front stretch "step on, jump off" section in the panoramic view.
