Jim, since you are a truck oval fan, come up with some specs so people can decide if they wanna run it.

Then post it here so people can start thinking about it....You know Chuck is in, and I'm sure there are a few more locals who don't come on here, that would run it.

You might have to hit the LHS's and plant some seeds....

I'd also like to hear from some TC or pan car oval guys to see what classes you would like to see. I think one class would be cool to maximize a particular class.

Remember, the straights are about 115 feet long, so let's plan on a class that would take advantage of it.....

We the f1 nation (..ie.Horsham,t&l,and now the bowl) have been
running.
540J
2s no mini lipos
min 975 weight
foam or rubber (so we run foam )
"f1" tires and rims only.
"f1" chassis and parts (basically no pan cars)
Max rpm was 12500 but last race was lowered to 12300 at 5 volts.
Don't know if we are keeping that rule yet..we will see.

Wow, what a rehab you are doing on that track...very nice...Need to get my gas blower fixed so I can go out for some practice (we talkin about practice?)...Me and the boys will be there for some USVTA!

And let me know on the oval class, haven't run it in a long time but would love to get the 10L3 out on it...

Tough deal with this....I have been talking to them all winter (before I heard about the bankruptcy) and they were trying to get an additional gate fee from our racers and families.

I guess they knew they had financial issues and was trying to help close the gap this way, but I can't see us doing it on a regular basis. Just too costly for us racers....

I may be able to still get a deal with the Vintage Grand Prix, but can't see doing much after that.

They know I am still interested in doing more events there, but has to be more on our terms....

Default Drivers Stand....

Wanted to post these pics as well.....It's a great drivers stand, but it will need some work on the steps.....

The stand is 4 foot high.....The top is 4 feet wide by 24 feet long.....Plenty big enough for 10 guys! (even the whole Tight Shirt Racing team will fit, no problem!) Sorry guys, couldn't resist....LOVE your team name....LOLOL

I'm figuring since the steps have to be fixed/replaced, I want to consider making it wheelchair accessible. If anyone has any expertise or ideas on a design, let me know.

bigb11- The width at the top is exactly 4 foot wide. Will the bigb11mobile fit through that? Would you have enough room to turn toward the track?
