In the Short Course Truck Stock Class you can use any short course specific tire/wheel/insert.

You MUST run the hand-out motor that you will receive at the event.

Speed controls must be run in zero timing - zero boost mode.

The above also applies to Short Course Buggy Stock.

In the 4wd big block class is it only the long chassis SC8e or are 1/8 buggy conversions allowed as well? Like an RC8be with short course bumpers, wheels, and tires with a 1/10 short course body like an SC10 body.

Yes, you are correct. You could also use the short chassis. Or, convert a Losi, HPI, or other brand

do we have to run the handout motor for the stock class? I have the losi SCT rtr, and I don't have money for a new speedo.

For the Slash Spec Class ONLY the stock motor, teh motor that came with the Slash, is legal.

I have not seen that body but it should be ok so long as it is a standard Short Course style body.

The ONLY motor legal in the Short Course Truck and Short Course Buggy Stock classes is the 17.5 Monster Locked motor from Trinity. No other motor is legal in these two classes.
