Yes we do. You can use either tire. Foam is popular at club races but trophy and spon
Thanks for the info.

There are a few others that run rubber too.
Some have set's of both.
Looks like most of the faster cars were
on foams (from what I could tell).
I think Kitchen switched over to foam
towards the end of the day and was much faster but
I had to jet early so I don't know how he finished in the main.
Maybe nitrodash or Kitchen can chime in and hook you
up with solid tire advice as I am new to the class.
I personally don't want to get into the expense of running
foams so it will be rubber for me all summer.

Yeah Dave i lost the whole front end of my car, my suspension mounts are pretzels my hingepin is bent at about 45* and the suspension mounting blocks are warped AND bent the arm is twisted and the tire is cracked. i think it bent my shock shaft and cracked my aluminum shock body as well my cvd and axle are both bent. I haven't taken a hard look at it yet that is just hte damage i can see with the body on. Yup that is what happens when you hit someone parked in the fastest part of the track w/ an 8.5 with boost timing and turbo cranked up.
I think we may need to announce that in the future just in case people forget (I know i used to do it until my car got nice and balled up and i learned the hard way I was vince and scooby was me), during warmups don't park on the line, especially at the end of the back straight. We line up when the clock gets under a minute and we will announce the back straight as "closed" and we line up tight to the back wall not in the middle of the track. They did this in Chaplin and Brooklyn it worked well no one got punted on the back straight during warmup.
Sorry to hear your Tamiya sustained a costly repair bill! That's the cost though when you trade security over weight reduction and design.
Anyone here doing regionals next weekend?

D-MAIN LEE PUNKING OUT?????
Yo D-Lee say it isn't so.
Rumor has it you are searching for any excuse to avoid that multi-layered A__-WHIPPING coming your way SUNDAY.
You talked all that BS, and now time is counting down.
Please do not bring little Darryl SUNDAY, it would tramatize him to see that done to his daddy on fathers day.

Don't worry Dave i have a setup for that car that i mushed together from Shawn Davis and Chay Blount. So far i'm mid 15's pretty consistently with it i just have to get a little more turn in and i'll be low 15's. We'll get you there.
