hey guys i was reading some break in tips, here is what i have so far:

-set needles to stock
-pre heat engine to 200*F
-drive around for 2 -3 minutes keeping engine at 200*
-turn off, set piston to BDC and let it cool
-repeat for 5 tanks
-do same as above with 4-5 minutes intervals
-repeat 5 times
-tune slightly, and drive slightly rich for about the first gallon until the engine starts to run cooler - at this time you should be able to get a consistent tune.

does anyone have any other tips they could give me? best way to stop the engine? etc?

The best way to break in a engine is to run a gallon thru the engine on the break in bench. Then 5 rich tanks in the track. Your motor will last forever and give you max power. That's want Uriah does to all my motors that why they are so fast and reliable!! Proven fact.

I figured I would just say something. I'll be heading down to the track today to break in my motor - if you're in the area come stop by!

No bodies that aren't allowed, however the oens that work are the Protoform p37 (200mm and 190mm) chevy cruize and protoform p56 some also like the blitz audi. In 190mm protoform p37 ltc, and the parma gtb are good places to start.

I'm not so sure on the weather. It doesn't look that promising. Only from 11-1pm tomorrow
