What's up Todd, sorry for the late response the wife and fam been keeping me busy. Still looking for a decent priced 104. I'm wondering if you were sandbagging on me with that tq run. The loaner was dialed and I don't think I will get my used 104 up to speed without your tutelage. Should have a sample of the t-plate with me this sat.

My bad, I thought you mad with me for some reason....If their is anyway I can be of assistance please don't hesitate to ask. I know for a fact you have what it takes to get this car perform the way it should work. You getting a F104 is good news for me. Hit me anytime homie,I got your back.

So far most of the racer I thought would be up for the Challenge of F1 Rubber Tire have let me/themselves down. :cool:/:flaming:

Interested in this class!

Curious what everyone is running for electronics…I know there is little real estate inside. Mainly curious about ESC and Servo choices. Plan on running a 21.5 brushless motor.

F104 looks hot.

Thanks for the info,
AJ

Todd didn't see you last Saturday - what's up? Will you be out this weekend?

Last Saturday the first round was wack as just about nobody was ready to run including me. The second round went better, but the track claimed my F201 as contact with a hard arsed curb punched the center of the hub out perfectly. So I switched up and ran the 3rd round on F104 foam as it was set up. I then got my rubber tires out and did some practice and the two-car main on rubbers. Kudos to Chase who was the TQ and had us all covered by over two seconds a lap.

After racing was over, there was over an hour for tuning and I brought the car down from 17 second laps to high 13's. Still way behind Chase, but better. Progress then came to a instant halt in an odd manner. Lots of cars had smashed the curbing at the end of the front straight it was overlaid incorrectly. The incorrectly overlaid end caught the rear outside tire and snatched the rear pod off the car. Drat.
