Sad state of affairs if that's how the track stays. I watched the video (actually the first 2mins) and was bored to tears. Why not just pave the track and ask the touring cars to come play. It's a nice location, but the layout is a joke.

Despite some of the mis-information above....
The track is fast and fun. It's a very good raceable track as is. However, neither RC Factory or CRCRC wants to settle on a good track if it can be improved, that's part of the reason to run a warm up race.
I have confirmation that Curt S plans to make some tweaks to the track before Thursday's electric practice to add a little air time and variety, while at the same time keeping many of the fast flowing elements that many racers, that have actually raced on the track, really enjoyed. We can't please everyone (especially RC Racers on the internet) but we do strive to provide the best racing experience avaialble.
Thanks Curt for all the hard work! It's going to be a great race. See you there!

registration is now closed for the nitro event, but it doesn't look like it's full. So my question is can I still register some how? Don't wanna make the 11 hour trip unless I know for sure.... thanks!
also...what tires will be in order for 1/8 scale? Thanks in advance...

Looks like a great track for 1/10 elec. cars. I really hope they make some jumps bigger for the nitro race though. My driveway is more challenging than this layout for my truggy. Most of those jumps are barely speed bumps. LOL A couple nice timing/rythum jumps would be nice.

i agree that it looks tough to go fast, but it is mostly because of turns and chicanes. i just got into offroad because of the offroad aspect. the track looks great, just a little smooth for my liking. it doesn't really matter what happens, i will just be happy to have somewhere to throw down my truggy. probably the last chance until late march.
