Wolfeman--> i know i told you the race was on the 23rd; i was wrong. It is this weekend. The 16th, Sunday. And they are supposed to have the track setup for practice by noon on saturday. Just found this info out yesterday.

DAMN!!!!! i was already to go! Oh well, this Sunday is booked, but Saturday is not!!! Looks like SoCal unless there is something else to do????

I believe the track will be of a large layout, approx. 200 ft.
Also may be behind Walmart instead of the front.

cnrspeed: do you have to pre-register for the race or can I sign-up the day of the race. Also is this a 2-day event!

Practice is Saturday.

Racing on Sunday.

I don't think there's enough racing going on there to justify a 2 hour drive, just my opinion. You're better served going to Hobbycentral on their racedays, It's a lot like Ultimate hobbies- just wish they ran on opposite weekends so I can go to both.
When enough people get micros I think ElCajon will be the rockin place.

Mike > I wish hobby central would change to, but I think that would effect racing at HobbyTown. I wish you did come up to Ultimate more. I need to test my driving against yours. You killed everyone last time you came up. You need to come up again!!

2 hours is not worth the drive just for RC racing. That is why i dont go to HobbyTown anymore. Its a great place, but way to far of a drive, expecially at the end of the day when you are tired and want to go home.
