Sorry a few of you feel that way about the Spec rules, but there are GT Open and GT Electric class racing options available to you guys at our US GT Nationals event.

To everyone else, get ready to have fun, nothing but GT racing all weekend long!

BTW, the race is September 3rd to 5th

The rules for the Byron's race were for the Byron's race. The Ipanema GT Nationals race never announced that the LRP and Picco were added or being added to the spec engine list. There is no "trying to mislead you" being done as far as the Ipanema race. The rules for spec for the GT Nats have been out there for months (basically the same rules that were used at the Ipanema GT Worlds with the exception of adding the GT3-Electric class). What LHR does for their races is totally independent from what Ipanema does for the ones they sponsor.

Well I doubt I come to this race now. I'm not going to buy a motor just to race one time and I'm not going to get mowed down by $700.00 engines either. The LRP Spec 3 engine cost $169.99. Thats if you don't have a coupon from tower. If thats to much motor for the rest of the engines shame on all the other engine manufacturers.

So take losts of pics for me and I hope everyone has a good time.

Did my online signup yesterday and my name is on the list. You can click on the Ipanema US Nationals banner from Jspeed's previous post and sign up through the 'Contact Us' link. Just takes a few seconds.
