I have a gallon of fuel I know will never be used. I'll bring it if I can find it.

I have a quart of old fuel that I can bring also.

This weekend is going to be great; I'll be there with my nitro and also my new T3 with a 10.5 .

I felt that the bite at Blue Diamond was poor during the morning and seemed alright during the heat of the day and then for the mains we were back to drifting around the corners.

I think the best time to test compounds for the track is during race day, so you can get constructive criticism from the racers.
Bring it and I will spray it.

When the track is in the warm up cycle grip is just a little low, but when the track is on the cool down side of the cycle the grip is GREAT i have a feeling it's due to the temperature baking in the soda and caster oil from the cars.

I've also read that people put VHT down then soda on top.

I've reached out to the folks in Ohio about their recipie apparently they have the ticket and it's a mix of stuff including VHT and other additives. I want to be a little careful because we have a mix of foam and rubber in the DM1 class vs the other classes that are foam OR rubber.

Long story short we are working on it, what we don't want to do though is experiment on race day ;-D so i have been experimenting at the 'Bowl on practice days and seeing what the outcomes are.

The other thing is after the summer rubbers in a little and we have some consecutive >80* days the warm up cycle on the track is like 10 minutes and the grip is high early.
Keep in mind, I don't foresee your local track owner putting up money for VHT. So in the event you guys decide your 4/10ths of a second faster with VHT, you should probably be prepared to spend the rest of the summer being 4/10ths of a second slower.

Keep using those Sweeps it will be there quite some time.

Seriously though Breaking a record that really doesnt exist shouldn't be hard with 203 when I was running 199 last year.

I think my fast lap on the track last year was 15.3 and the time was 19 5:02
But I think BD is running 6 minute quals this year right?

Larry you are about spot on on the times, was looking back through some of the results from last year. Yeah we are running 6 min quals.

Glad to see we are stepping it up, it was getting a little quiet in this thread since my son, whose been away for dam near the whole season, ran his Kyosho and out qualified Phil w/ some slovakian nonsense and Phil went all silent. Marlon says he's got your number Phil .
