Just got my HPI Blitz this week from Dwane.
I also sent a draft race schedule to Dwane that covers March through October. Took into account the two ROAR races and the RC Pro Series visiting so there is planned to be at least two races a month from April till September.
Also there is two Awesome RC series races planned of five races each along with two, one day events.
I'll definitely be talking with Dwane tomorrow and hope to post the schedule very soon thereafter with his approval.

How is the turnout for Stock Slash? I was thinking about getting one and coming out to race, but wanted to be sure the class has a "normal" turnout and following.

Also I see the rules, but is it limited to just Slash in the spec class, or are the others (SC10, Blitz etc.) allowed too?

Thanks!!

SCT covers all of them, Blitz, Slash, Strike, SC10.......... Last year we were always able to make a Short course race.

They all come with different motors, so would that matter? I am looking at the SC10 would I be able to change the brushes in the motor? Just want to make sure I get things right before I show up and so I dont have to buy things twice.

Thank you for the info. Looking forward to making it out for some racing.

Most of the motors on the sc trucks you cannot change the brushes such as the strike

Sounds good to me!

Very glad that I can ask questions on here or in email and get a very quick response. Should have a SC10 soon, and may be able to talk a few others into it as well. Can't wait to get out there on the dirt.

I assume SCT class races for 4 or 5 min heats and mains correct?

Last year we did 5 minute qualifiers and mains for the stock Slash class.
This was largely dependent on the type of batteries run by the racers.
My thought is to keep it at 5 minutes for stock class and maybe 10 minutes for a mod class.

Default Race Season

Looking forward to racing again! It's been a long winter! It would be great to have a stronger SCT class.

Schedule looks great!

Joel, come out and play. It's been to long since I've got to race with you.

I agree Harold, it has been to long buddy. I will be there on day 1 I think. I am getting ready to get a SC10, just trying to get things lined up first.

After going to Snowbirds things are a little tight in the wallet, but after the tax return comes in I should be able to get a SC10.

Harold what class do you run? SCT Open or "spec"? I figure I will bring a brushless system just in case Open is all they have for that day. I would really like to run Stock or Spec though as it will be WAY cheaper.

Thanks for posting the rules on the Short Course truck!

It is Way cheaper and more fun having some rules for Short Course instead of people are putting. 1/8 buggy tires on Short Course trucks. I agree that short course Spec is a Very good choice for those who don't want to spend a ton of cash to race which appeals to lots of people.

Sounds like the first race is not to long away See ya'll there
