PIN SHOP HOBBIES & RACEWAY and R/C CAR ACTION and American Cancer society

BIG NEWS !!!!! Its still in very early stage, but we need to get started, its going to be held at the Goshen Fairgrounds Goshen CT,during the Goshen Stampede, its looks like Friday/short course, saturday/1/8 scale, and Sunday/1/5scale.they are having a demolition derby Friday night with fireworks, saturday and Sunday the Rodeo and a Truck pull will be going on. We can start on Monday prior to start with track building and getting set up, so any help,ideas,will be a big help, we are trying to find sponsor's for the major thing's like light’s, driver stand,pipe,fence,etc,all the proceeds are going to American Cancer society, the whole event is a Charity Event. Kevin from R/C CAR ACTION is working with the magazine on pulling in some big names; HPI is 95% if not there is somebody else ready to sign on. So let me know what you guys think and there is a web site for the stampede-WWW.goshenstampede.com.

We will be needing volunteers to help in this fantastic charity event. More to come very soon.

Hey all! Looks like I'll be doing all my local off roading at the Pin Shop now and was wondering what your classes are like and what rules are run. Is there a ROAR style SCT class with 17.5's and any 2C Lipo? Also, do you run Electric 1/8th Buggy? Last, what 1/10th classes are run? Any info would be great.

Hello !!!!!
I'm one of the reg. down at the Pin Shop,Welcome.....welcome....They run the 1/8 nitros with the elec. They do around 7 min. qual. and 15 min. mains.
There is sometimes as many elect. as there is nitros. in both buggy and truggy classes.

They also run monster truck class mixed elec. and nitro.

The short course has been 2c lipos basically box stock exept tires last year.But this year I think that will change and 17.5 brushless will be allowed.

The 1/10 class was up and down last year so depending on how many are to show up will determine how thats run.

Just wanted to post up and say that you guys put together another great season of outdoor off-road for 2010. The Turkey Derby was just a few days ago and I already miss racing! Can't wait till spring 2011!
