Tires - Right now it's anyones guess. The track is there but no one has really run it.

Ok listen, the absolute last thing we wanted to do is step on the toes of LIR. All we wanted to do is offer up (I can't believe I'm saying this again) a place to relax with your gear and not have to worry if your in a crappy main or not. I'm giving people the opportunity to run what ever they want and just have fun. LIR is most certainly the place to go if you want serious competative racing, come to Sean, Billy, and I if you want to have fun. As far as rules, we are gonna run a stock Slash rule as far as the motor and speedo, I can care less about what batts you run in it unless it's a three cell lipo, thats not gonna happen. SC10's will be mixed in untill we have enough for a seperate class unless they are setup with 17.5's. If enough people want to run lower turns, we will create a seperate deal for you guys, Slash too. We are gonna base classes on whats there to run for the day. Example, if there is five electric stadium tucks and two nitro's, thats an obvious one. If we have a balanced blend of Nitro MT's and Electric MT's, we are gonna seperate the two. We will also have a "Spotsman'' esque class, if we have enough younger drivers. Now when I say class, what I'm talking about is this: we will be setting up (quote un quote) heats based on car, truck, whatever. Then we will decied on how long they will go out and run for. If, and only IF everyone wants to run a race, we will have to randomly asign people to a car and count his laps. Like I said, we have lights, we don't care how long you wanna stay. And please, NO MORE LIR THIS, NEW PLACE THAT! I think we should all take Sal's advice and just be happy we have anything at all! With that said, the tires I'm running on my T4 are Pro-line Bow Ties with what feel like a stock foam. They are working pretty good for now. In the front I'm using Losi pink Tapers with the stock foam also. The Slashes are dialed when the place is watered down right out of the box, alittle loose when it's not. As for MT's, I've only ran my Clod on it and it smoked an SC10!! LOL

Please do explain as to why racing at LIR can't just be for fun? And why can't it be relaxing? I am very curious to hear your answer.

Are you so worried about this little track that more people will come here then LIR?

Slayer, you should thank him for the free bump for your new track.
I apologize for bringing up lir again but "rob wonders why people don't come back" What does that even mean? Lir is one of the best tracks to race at around---it's not perfect but the good far outweighs the bad. Great bunch of guys and great racing.

I can appreciate the fact that there is now another option for guys to race and just run their stuff but I can't understand how people would avoid lir to go run at an empty dirt lot.

He means, no real structured races, just run what u brought, and mess around, kinda like its your own backyard track. I dont think he's talking crap about LIR. Just trying to give another option. Besides it's an hour away from LIR so majority of LIR's customers are still going to stay racing at LIR. I myself will as well because i'm 5 mins from LIR, but I also would like to race at this track too, because it is different from LIR, and the only time we get to experience other tracks and new people, is when we travel at the very least 2 hours away. So I welcome this new track with open arms, and say that I(and a few others I talked to)are definate customers, and still LIR customers as well.

Because its something new. People are not going to avoid LIR. They're just going to race at both now

Nice Job George. Im thinking Ill run out there to run the Revo around on a Saturday or maybe a Sunday. I dont really see it as a threat to LIR. Ill still go there on Friday night when I can.

It's not just at LIR, I've been racing since I was 8 years old and I understand it more now that I'm older. It goes on at every RACE orientated establishment, if some one who is used to being in the A every week suddenly finds himself in the C, he's pissed and nine times outta ten, he goes home. Or better yet " Oh man, I'm in the bottom feeders qualifier" If I had a dollar for everytime I've heard that! I'm not trying to steal LIR's dedicated customers, I simply gave them a skate park for RC's!

First of all I'm sure he heard a couple of people that might have been talkin smack about the place not having the parts that people need or tires that might be working for that round or whatever but that doesn't mean you gotta chime in about an empty dirt lot. We spent a good two weeks with dozers, rakes, and shovels to build a place for people to enjoy themselves. Nobody is gonna avoid LIR. Now thats it for this back and forth baby BS!! If you wanna come play, fine, if not stay were you are! Hey Kev. I was thinking of you guys when we were building this place! I knew it would be the perfect thing for you guys to test and tune your nitro MT's!!

To be honest with you, if you give Sean a call before you come down, one of the three of us are down there at almost any givin night. We haven't gotten any calls for the nitro's at night, but if you are bringing one at night, bring an electric truck too just incase. If not, first come first serve, we will have a few Slash's or Rustler's to play around with.

Hey George,

Cool. I'll be checking it out soon. The slash is ready to go. The rally, well not so much after the HPI challenge, but it will be back and soon.
