I was approached during my "R/C Racing Traveling Road Show" down in Trains and Lanes in Easton PA and they asked me to put together a Sedan Shootout. With "Lay back and Fun" being the key ingredients to a action packed weekend of Racing..... I said, "Hell Ya!!" and it's going to be the start of the Memorial Day Weekend...... We have the best On-Road Drivers in the eastcoast........ So Me and Team B&B are putting together this shing-ding at Jackson, NJ.....

.......... So I personally invite you all, My fellow racers to attend our party. We have all the info up above. There will be a class for everyone and did we mention......Ummm......... Free Food??...... Yeah Baby!!

Mark it down and join the fun!!.... The price is right and any tire pre-mount..... Don't miss out!!

More to come

Open tires. Bring you own tires. If you need rubber tires, Jackson R/C will have plenty of premounted Sorex tires on sale at a discount. Plus you will be helping out the club so we can have more great race events.

It's been some time since I last messed around with on road cars, but I got one and would like to check out the track. I was wondering about the rules and regulations for a 1\10th scale on road car.

Looked at the website, but it was a little hard to tell what the classes are and the rules that go with it. I did see a link to the ROAR rules, but that's almost 100 pages of rules that just got me more confused

Could someone tell me what can or can't be run at the track as far as motor, batteries and tires? Not just for this event, but in general.

What are the chances of adding a USVTA Trans-Am class for this event?

You are welcome to run your TransAm with the RCGT class. You can run either the 21.5 or 17.5/27T with the LiPo battery and 1450 g weight.

Default Vintage Trans AM class added

By popular request. Vintage Trans AM class is added to the schedule. All USVTA rules apply.

Just to clarify, 17.5 is going to run regular TC and RCGT together? so if you wanted you could run any premount with an rcgt body?

USVTA rules have a 4.2 FDR limit and only allow the Novak 21.5 motor. ROAR vintage rules allow any 21.5 motor and a "recommended" gear limit. Some racers already purchased other brands of ROAR approved 21.5 motors, therefore, for this race any 21.5 motor is okay.
Jackson R/C is a large track. What do you guys think about gear limits?

I think this class should run as per the rules, down to the gearing. I think we can get a nice crowd together to create this fun class.

We are going to stick with the rules for RCGT. If it becomes a Big class, then it will run in it's own heat.

If we're going to open the motor rule, might as well open up the gear rule as well (for this race, anyhow). I'm not sure how much more gear these cars can take before overheating becomes a concern, but I guess we'll have a chance to find out!!!Either way, it looks like I'm bringing 2 cars (!)

Thanks for adding this class to the schedule - I'll do my best to get racers to attend...
