Default R/C Swap Meet April 5th (NJ)

Now is a good time as any, to get rid of your unwanted R/C stuff (or unwanted cash....lol) and get ready for the outdoor season here in the Northeast!

It will be held on Sunday April 5th, in the parking lot of "Big Head Hobbies" 1809 N Black Horse Pike in Williamstown N.J. 08094

It's about 1/2 mile south of the old Alpine Lounge (now Taylors)

Time is from 11am-4pm

This will be a "Rain or Shine" event, so bring canopies just in case.

We're right around the corner from the Great Outdoors, so spread the word to your racing buds!!!!

Weather permitting, I'll also be setting up the parking lot track for a Test and Tune out front.

All Vintage, Nitro Vintage, RCGT and Drift drivers that plan to compete in the SJCCR Summer Series are encouraged to come out to get all the latest updates, schedule info, and set up tips!

Hope to see ya there.....

GREAT DAY TODAY GUYS!!!!!!!!

Thanks you all for coming out to have fun racing toy cars on a perfect sunny day!

Lots and Lots of NEW RACERS showed up to see what organized racing is all about! Just about all of them sported Vintage trim, and the few that didn't will soon be....hehhehheh

We had about 10-12 Electric Vintage racers and about the same amount of Nitro Vintage show up to test and tune!!!!!

Thanks to all the local guys for taking time to help them get started on their new R/C addiCtION....LOL

Here's a few "after" shots....

....and I couldn't resist this classic Scooby Horton driving pose....

It's got to be the nicotine that makes him so FAST!!!! LOL

There are more pics in this gallery....

BTW, it's official....We are holding our next race at Big Head Hobbies in two weeks (Sunday April 19th)

This will be a non points series race, so we can get everyone onboard with all the class specs. Plus, it will give the newbies a chance to actually be in a race, before we race for real....

The featured classes will be Electric Vintage (as per USVTA), Nitro Vintage, and RCGT.

Practice at 11am, first heat around 1pm....Entry only TEN BUCKS per class!!!!

(The SJCCR Bailout plan...LOL)
