What is it that racers like the most? Trophy races, night races, dash for cash, maybe an enduro race (1.5 hour or first to 200 laps at @ 30 secs a lap). Make some suggestions and I'll gladly pass em on. I'm a big fan of night races myself but it's gonna start gettin chilly here soon. What defines a "big" race anyway, slapping a title on a day and calling it an event? If 70 people register at a club race I would still consider that a "big" race. We have way too much time left in the season not to set something up. Also, just to let everyone know... the track is still open on Sats for test and tune/practice. We still turn the computer and lap timer on and if enough people are there it becomes a race day.

DING!!! Ah the 'E' word. my favorite word in RC. such good fun and perfect for late season. use up ur fuel, tires, and this season's motor. pool your stuff with a friend or 2 to form a team. could be a real good deal indeed!!!! DO IT!!!!

Just not Sept 25/26, thats wkend of another enduro legend in the making. the 24hours of jackson (yes u heard right 1st 24hr RC event in the US goes down next mth).

Looks like I answered my own question. Duh An enduro night race with trophies and a cash payout to 1st in Buggy and Truggy A main. The entry fee would be a lil steep but how flippin cool would that be?

i shelled out 245bux for a 24hr enduro up at jackson RC end of this mth. granted that includes a tt01 spec racer and an extra set of tires, bearings etc. but if shows what folks will spend for cool events that bring more interest than just a typical 'race meeting'

Do it!!! I personally would love a reason to freshen up my otherwise barely used 2.0 for a cool event like this!!!
