Default Revelation Raceway soon to be open again!!!!

This premiere track will be open again shortly. Though I'd get the juices flowing for those that know about it.

Revelation raceway where the first "test" for a worlds touring car class was held. They also had the GTP worlds there at the time. They will be running everything from 10th scale to 5th scale, electric and Gas. they have full electricity, hobby shop, covered pits, and a very cool drivers stand setup. Has lights for night races, and the will be holding one race during the week and saturday and sunday racing from what I have heard. Oh yeah, they also have a track in the back for Minis like the HPI if I remember correctly. Its just a very cool place to race. Look for a ton of Major events to be held there. As long as it maintains financially it will be a premeire track.

Damn I sound like an ad for the place.

Cool! I raced the last McCoy race there a few years ago. It's a great place, lets hope it can survive. I hope the new owner has deep pockets!

Mike.

It’s around the corner from the old Ranch Pit Stop. I believe it's officially in Montclair, just across the city line from Pomona. I don’t remember an address or anything more than that though.

It is on Monte Vista, just below Holt, and above Mission. It is the same owner from what I heard. Last I remember it closed because of some shady deal that Integy folded on.

Default Exact directions for those wondering.

Take the 57N to the 10E exit Monte Vista. go right, cross over Holt. The next block it will be on your right, after the train tracks. If you hit mission you have gone to far.

I have to go out that direction tonight so I will check it out to see if any work has been done on it.

Well something is definetly going on over there. There were two circles on the track which is different from how it was before, but no track layout. It was dark so I may have missed something.

I'm not sure it's the same owner...from what I hear, that track put the orig. owner into some serious debt, and caused some major family problems...that's all I'll say on it, though...

He'd have to be a bit nutty to try it again...at the SAME track!!!

Last time I was in the are I stopped by...the 'shop' was then the home of quite a few homeless people...

I know that a bunch of gas guys used to sneak/break in and run informal races for quite a while after it closed but then the bums moved in.
