Mike,

Good to hear that you want to check us out. I don't remember what class you were running at 360, but we hope to be racing them all at T&L this year. See ya soon.

Default 2009 Asphalt Prep Day.

A big thank you to all those that helped today with the track clean up in preparation for next Saturday's opening day. Here are some pics of the work progress so far. I'll try to keep putting up pics to keep you up to date.

Terry

Here are some pics of the freshly pressure washed track

Here is the newly installed antiwalk fence and drainage trench

...and on the other side too

Default Crisis averted

The sudden downpour that we experienced this evening caused a mudslide across the freshly cleaned asphalt track. Juan and Choa caught the problem and Kitchen and I jump over to help. We dug 2 more trenches to help drain the rush of water from the offroad track. Then Juan washed down the track while it was still wet and Kitchen and Choa swept it down to accelerate to cleaning. When we left, it looked just as good as it did after it was cleaned yesterday. A very good save.

As for classes,

I think we need to stay with some of the roar rules here.

1. 13.5 TC
2. 17.5 TC for beginners
3. 21.5 lipo WGT being are track rule.

also we should have an open premount tire rule. And for my cash races it will be open tire rule BUT they must come to tech un-opened to be checked.

Rui and I know Joe I want you to be there opening day.......
Ron

I know Ron will not be here this week, but I'm pretty sure he said he'll be here for the 11th. Looking forward to racing with you again.

I don't know Orlando! Tha Xray looked very fast in practice today.

You and your car weren't anywhere in sight.

New setup is very nice. Good job fellas.

Default Thanks

Thanks to all who came out on Saturday...it was a bit chilly and windy but the die hards stayed and raced.. layout is fast but still quite technical.

This upcoming weekend should be great..full crowd..
traction will be great..extra grape will be sprayed on the groove.

any new guys to the track...you guys have to bring your own transponders, house transponders are out of commision.

Start time
2pm

Classes to date:
13.5 - 19 turn Rubber tire
17.5 - 27 turn rubber tires
World Gt is being worked on

14/18 scale open motor is also open to run

if anyone is bringing a WGT or a 14/18 scale car please post up so we prep the race sheet in advance.
Thanks to all again for a great show and fantastic season.

ohh..p.s.....I beat Alvin!!!!!

Nitro? the track might be a bit too tight for the nitro speed unless you guys can really gear down to make it safe on the motors.
