Any idea on the size of the track and will it be ozite carpet? Also, any chance of getting some TC racing, or is it just oval?

The Track is a bullring 41' x 20' but lots of fun, I race my recoil and my RC12L and man its a blast. Good guys to run with.

Chris knows how to run races properly with his 20 plus years expeience. I should know, we raced together back in "the day" with 1200 batteries at clifton hobbies, middletown hobbies, zeppelin, radical and many other ovals. You can run a road course there with 1/18 and 1/12 without a problem. Besides I recall bir being approx 46' x 18'.

I feel this oval/roadcourse track is a great addition to the tri state area and will definitely become one of the main visits for oval racers in the area. Don't let the size fool you, some of the best races are on small tracks, even nascar goes to bristol.

Spoke with Chris and he stated that there will be racing on Monday and Thursday nights starting in about three weeks. This would be a great way to get a head start on the fall carpet season.

Hi there gazza,

Give Chris a call to see if he'll be running 12th scale. The guys will be running the Losi Late Model, if there's enough guys running 12th scale, he might throw them in as well.

there are rules in 1/12? just kidding. why would you run anything hotter than stock motor in 1/12 or 1/10 on a 40 foot bullring oval.

I recommend a brushless 13.5 or stock 27t for pan cars. anything faster would just make the hobby shop rich from parts sales. Maybe that would be good for chris.

I am glad the late model 1/18 is taking off. Besides, I envision ten car plus fields so that we can experience racing the way it is supposed to be, not that ifmar start crap that everyone else does.

Could we possibly see a fall regional race for us oval carpet guys? time will tell.
