What was that little RTR they let me run? If I got anything it would be one of the Cyclone S kits, but I may end up just helping Randy with tech and what not.

It will be a good time.

Don't know how that rumor would start.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...CH=HPI+vintage

Tower has almost every vintage tire and wheel instock. If it is there that means that any hobbyshop should be able to order it from Great Planes. Just checked on the stock myself and it looked good.

Still plenty of time to get stuff ordered and race em.

Vintage is a BLAST.

Sorry I did not realize anyone raced slicks. Most populer at other tracks is the D compound treaded tires. D does not stand for drift it is just a compound just like Pink or M3.

Horizon has the slicks. Im going to try the slicks. Andy said they worked pretty well in the other thread. I watched the video from the NJ race and the Vintage class looked like a blast. (also looked liked the cars dont handle great).

RE: Vintage tires etc...

The 4793 and 4797 Vintage Racing Tires D-Compound tires are in stock at HPI (...which means they are available from dist/shops).

We do make Vintage Drift tires they are the 4794 and 4798 Vintage Drift Tires Type B

The Vintage Slicks, 4791 and 4792, handle about the same as the treaded ones (at least locally and at NJ). They are currently out of stock at HPI but should be available from distributors/shops etc.

Thanks,

AH

Big thanks to Andy for getting the part numbers up. Alot better than "just get the ones that work and you should be OK"

As stated the slicks and treades handle about the same and the treads are ready availible. Tower hobbies has everything in stock if your local hobby shop cant get them. Buy em, mount em, and race em next weekend.
