RC Pro Series-Electric Class Added!
Just want to make sure you guys know that the electric open class has been added to the RC Pro Series Race. It is on the new flyer but I don't know when the new version will be posted on their website. We have decided to make the price for electric $20.00 That will give you 2 days for the price of one and includes trophies.
I noticed that price wasn't put on the flyer. I've bugged the RC pro guys enough so i'm not going to worry about that. If you overpaid, you will get the difference back. I will be watching for it.
If you help set-up and tear-down, you'll get $10 back so that equals 2 days of racing with trophies for $10 bucks! Can't beat that!
Since it's an open class, there won't be many rules. I do think that we should set some kind of ground rules though just to make it fair and we don't have someone show up with an 1:8 scale running brushless with 2 lipos. So we will limit it to 190mm max. although smaller chassis can be used. Truck chassis vehicles can be any size. Only one motor will be allowed(except for trucks that come with 2 motors) and one battery limited to 7 cells for Nicad/NiMH and 2 cells for lipos. Touring car 190mm body must be run although if someone wants to run a truck chassis, they can run a truck or car body. Any tire, any motor, and any battery. If anyone can think of anything else, speak up. It is also up to the race director if we want to tech someone for any reason. That's about all I can think of for now. Good luck!

Well, it's this coming weekend. The track is sealed, traction compound will be sprayed and hope we'll get a good turn-out. For more info, check the VORRA thread on here or our website: www.vorra.org or RC Pro's website: http://www.rcprosites.com/

Lookin forward to this weekend after taking a few weeks off post Capital Classic.
Melvin, myself and I suspect all of the VB/Peninsula drivers should be there.
Great job on sealing the surface and getting traction compound. Before I read the news, I was seriously considering donating about $50 worth of Paragon and getting a sprayer.
See y'all soon!!!

For some reason, RC Pro doesn't have electric as part of their series. Because of this, we had to have trophies made just for this class. They are nice plaques and I think people will like them. It will be an electric open class. See previous post for the rules.

Yep, you can sign up at the track. Even if some guys can't make it until Sunday still come and race because there will be one round of qualifying on Sunday along with the mains. There is on site food and restrooms plus putt putt golf, driving range, and batting cages for those who haven't been there. Do remember to bring your tents and chairs to pit with and dc power if you need to charge your batteries.
