yea Ryan is about right, everybody that has raced in SB has transponders, everybody that doesnt....doesnt lol

i agree man, they need to invest in a timing system once and call it done.

then they need to get a fence and a lock and require membership fees, with that money they need to buy dirt...at that point they just need to to touch ups and whatever they make from the track, they need to put back in, within 6 months they should have a killer location, its just the initial investment that will hurt, but they need to think long term and do it right the first time.

Big Boys and Toys will get theirs man, just from locals buying parts, fuel, and engines/kits and membership fees.

track is in a good location, right next to the speedway, port a potty's arent doing it any justice, but sun valley is right next to a power plant and Revelation is in a weird location, same with thunder alley, proline and so on...what makes a track is the layout/dirt, i dont even remember the power plant at sun valley and thats because the PAST layouts were so bitchen...and who cared! layout and dirt man...

I stopped by there last Sunday and snapped a few pics as well for our website. Some of us from Bakersfield and Paso will be going there a few times once they get it going.

That sounds awesome man, more the merrier and the more fun of course. Gives us a heads up on here before hand and i can see if i can grap a couple of local peeps to go rip with you guys.

I will be running 10th scale, Truggy, Buggy or whatever, its just a blast having rip sessions.

i will stop by the track tomorrow afternoon to do some touch ups and so on to hopefully get it in decent shape for the first initial race this saturday.

i heard they will be having a BBQ, timing system and handing out prizes as a kick off. Should be fun and i look forward to supporting this track considering this is all we got lol

...not too bad of a first event for the New track.

Good luck guys - you've got something good to work with.

Matt did a nice job w/ the bbq too.

I also just picked up a 1/10 4wd, should be here wednesday! So count me in if there is enough people to have a race for them. I only wonder how they work out on the track at the end of the day, last saturday they seemed fine when the track was smooth but once it gets blown out it must be a trick to drive. What buggy did you get?
