Default Hobby Hut Racing Schedule, Audubon PA

The racing schedule is up for Hobby Hut in Audubon, PA.

Opening day is a trophy race 4/13 (Sunday).

All new red clay base this year, will be a new hard packed running surface.

Can't wait to see the old faces again and hope to see some new ones.

Default What are you guys runnning?

It looks like we'll be moving into the area this summer, and while we've been racing on-road at 360 Speedway in Long Island, it looks like we're going to be switching to off-road, now that Horsham is no more.

Right now I'm debating whether we'll go 1/10th electric buggy, or 1/8th nitro, and that kind of depends on what you guys are running out there.

I do notice Hobby Hut now has a 1/10th and 1/8th track, but the electric vs. nitro (and buggy vs. truck or truggy) debate is still open.

I don't want to get something and realize I'm the only guy running it.

I tried emailing Hobby Hut with this question, but never heard back, so any help you guys can give would be appreciated.

There were 130-140 entries for yesterdays opener, 55 being buggies (1/8). Not sure of the rest of the entry brake up, but buggy (1/8) looks to be the most popular class.

1/8 buggy or truggy would be your best bet. Those always have the most entries at the hut.

Questions?? 1/10 electric?

Did any 1/10 electric trucks show up?

If so, what was the popular truck and what class (brushless motor)?

Thanks!

there is no longer a 1/10 scale track. Pretty much truggy, buggy and monster truck. Sometimes there is enough for 1/10 scale nitro and sometimes there is electric 2wd 10 scale racing. But all depends on who shows up.
