I almost had a good time at the t4t race. Racing in the dark sucked.

Looks like a carpet in door track will be ready soon in Tamecula. Looks like I won't have to sell my 12th scale car just yet. Maybe big enough to run sedans, I hope.

I stopped by the new track in Tamecula today. I was in the area. Nice place and pretty nice size track. At least double the size of El Cajon. They say it should be ready in about 3 weeks. Looks like a diffinate place to check out.

Hey Donnie, was thinking about what you said on the bumper problem. Years ago we had the same problem with the front bulkheads for the RC500 gas cars. The cheapest fix was to boil the parts for 15 minutes in water, most of us dyed them black at the same time. This stress relieves the part. I dont know if this will solve the problem or not but I'll try this myself. If you ever had a old RC10 and dyed the parts, you already know the process. If not , use a double boiler or nuke it for 8 minutes on high. Bye, Mopar.

Mopar - Go to: http://www.rickysrccar.com/ for more on the new track. I talked to Don from Schumacher about it at SoCal and he said it will be about twice the size of El Cajon but that they had the carpet laid down upside down (?!?) .

I am going to So Cal on Tuesday and Saturday to test out my
new car the Mission.

I will post how I did.

I am looking forware to the new carpet track, I hope they
race on Friday night, and 12th scale. I think I will buy a 10th
scale pan car to race. Associated of course.

Hey Sherman, you'll love the new car. Hope you got a spare bumper when you ordered the car. I hit the pole with a stock motor and shattered it. Donnie only had one spare and I didn't want to take his last one. So I ended up going home early. See you saturday if I get any spares this week. Been tuning up my Off-road stuff for Cactus in march. Spent 2 days working on the 4wd, only because the 2wd works like it did last time I raced it. Bye for now.

Default PARKING LOT FUN SUNDAY 12.23.01

---Thanks to all that showed last Sunday!!---
-Thanks Cory for sand blasting the disks.

The address is 1950 cordell ct. el cajon 92020.
I plan to have track set up and ready to go by 11:00. We will start the first heat shortly after 1:00. The track will be set up until 4:00. Track surface is concrete with a light broom texture. A little bumpy in some spots.(not too bad though. 4.5mm ride height does not scrape.) It will be swept and blown.

From 8 east take 67n to bradley exit.
turn left(w)
continue on bradley to cuyamaca.
turn right(n)
at the next light (gillespie way/b.mitchell dr.)
turn left(w)
follow street up and to the right (now going north)
turn left on cordell ct.(w)
go up the hill and to the right to the end of the street.
turn into last driveway.

Those planning on attending please send me a response.

Yea, I was wondering about that too. I am in San Diego right now and I have my stuff with me. Was thinking about making the trek to Ripon's carpet track one of these days, but Temecula is just so much closer.

Is the track open?
