So according to the rules it is OK to run the Tamiya option wings on any body that has dimples molded in?
Even if the body has dimples and includes a hard molded plastic wing the option wings can be run? Or only if the body has molded dimples but does NOT include a hard molded plastic wing?

Right FWD can't change or add wing
Entry Form
I am new to TCS and I would like to know if there is an entry form for TCS 2011 available (Isearched tamiyausa website but couldn't find it other than the rules) or I just need to sign-up at Tamiya circuit at Aliso Viejo. Also, can someone tell me what date is the race?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Don't be sneaky
Example: the old Porsche Carrera GT body, which I dearly love to run on old GT3 spec cars, has one molded dimple on it for screws to attach the plastic ABS wing it came with. Not two dimples. According to the rules, that means the optional wing sets are not legal on that body, so I can't run it in the new GT2. Too bad, it was a killer.
Motor Rules (Silver Can)
I'm no hot rodder for the Silver Can motors. Even when I try to perform some voodoo magic that I have heard about, I start with a motor that produced 12,000 RPM at 5V, and end up with a 10,900 RPM motor that gets installed in a Frog or Mid-night pumpkin or some other fun car.
I was playing (or shall we say horsing around) with some new motors and my speed checker, and after just a little break in, I was able to get really close to the limits specified for the Silver can class. For the old 5V limits at 13,500 RPM, I never could get there, and now the new rules look like we are truly running a broken in and not tweaked Mabuchi.
Thoughts? I like this.

I just checked all my motors that have been stored. None have been cleaned and relubed yet. All were between 16,400 and 17,100. I had one 4 slot johnson motor that came in at 18,100, good thing that is not a legal motor anymore.
I think it says alot that since Fred revised the rules all you have read on this forum are positive comments about the rules. It is so nice to come on this thread and not see a ton of whining and bitching.
Time to start working on the cars and trying to find a good setup. Hopefully my F104 Pro will be in the shop soon so I can start building it. So many options this year shame that we can only run 2 classes

Which bodies are legal for the M05 for the TCS? Besides the Mini Cooper and the swift which are the other FWD bodies?
So what can we complain about now??? Spec tires and RPM limits seem to level the field.
But.........who will check all this at the regional races?
ain't life grand?

Its not the 17,500 rpm limit that is gonna make the difference its how fast my motor will get to that limit
