Izzy,

17.5 is open to anyone's 17.5 and any speed control. It can have boost or no boost. It's up to you guys. In furture fun races I may institute non boost, but for now I want to see how this goes.

GT-3 TCS rules which is Silver can power

Talking Non- FF03 body!

I just tried an old Skyline body on my FF03 and it fits perfect. I don't even have to trim the bumper! I tried the NSX and the EBRO and neither one fits right so I'll be testing Saturday!!!
All I need now is a Grandpa or Doc tweeked motor and I'll be ready to roll!

Max-
We have those parts in stock!
Nice thing about using a full race Red Dot is you can start gearing at a 6.25 FDR

Default A testing driver

Hey Max, how'd the testing with the "front-drive" Skyline come out? I noticed you took the wing off like I suggested for one run--was I crazy wrong?

Rod,

One word. Logitech They work on the PS3 and on all the driving games that come out for it. XBOX = no decent wheels unless you buy a Porsche Fantec RS and try finding one in a store online only and 6-8 week wait to get one made

I worked on George to give the game a spin on the POD

Yes you were crazy, but I realized what I needed to do. Were you the one who suggested using the low downforce wing instead? After running no wing I put the low downforce and the car feels almost perfect. I wanted to do more testing but I blew out my diff screw and thrust bearing, so I'll be there early Sat. to do more testing with some sorex tires in the front to see if they hold up better then the B3's. What am I saying of coarse they will hold up better than the B3's. I will also try some Much more tires and then make my decision!

Hmmm, i might just use my bestbuy reward coupon on this so I can just race with FMW. I do miss sitting in my f1 seat anyway. GT5's long layover made cobwebs around it.

Wish I could claim I was the one who recommended a low-downforce wing. I was the guy saying don't run a wing at all, and find out just how much mechanical grip you've got. Maybe the problem is that a Skyline won't work without a wing.
I'm a bit puzzled. I'd like to think that a hatchback body and/or the right coupe or sedan will work without a wing. Seems like my hatchs get around the track all right without a wing; then Rod comes in with the Suzuki SX4 and its plastic wing, and it works great. Arrgh. Meanwhile, I'm going to bring out my 911 again with its vestigal wing, and see what happens.
You wanna try either of my hatch bodies, just give a holler. Meanwhile, I have GOT to go get me one a' them Civics.

Tomdude,
I could run the Civic body wingless at Tamiya but at Cal Raceway it was a no go.
Don and Lee rechecked and reset the chassis and it was still a no go.
With a temporary wing the Civic was able to get around well.

Put a Porsche body with wing on and it was money, raced the F'n race that way.

Picked up a Ford Focus rally body w/wing and gonna give that a go over there soon.
There were a couple no wing cars gettin around quickly that nite, Mike R's GTI, like yours, flew to a 4th place finish in a pretty stout line up.
Should the GTI vs Civic really make that much difference?

Have you run yours at Cal or ? with good results? Wingless of course.
I tried lots of stuff, even different tire compounds. Did not try the GTI body.
