...But I thought Kevin WAS part of TAOB???

Kevin was asking about the Z for me. If you don't mind sharing, let me know what you think about it, compared to the R34, 360, and NSX.

I guess if I'm looking for maximum downforce, I could drag out the Altezza Body.

Tomorrow, as in, "I'll be racing at SoCal". I'm taking Mom to a pottery show in the morning, so no Tamiya for me. I still can't believe that I have tomorrow off.

Ahhh, the Altezza body! That body had CRAZY turn in. I think I won my first TCS regional with the Altezza body.

it has a wing that rivals most fighter jets in the US Air Force.

(honestly... i dont know if it'll work well.. im just yanking your chain! )

You also had the mad skills to earn yourself a free ticket to Japan last year!

But I don't have any NSX bodies. The only Tamiya ones I have are the R34 Skyline, 360 Modena, Altezza, MRS, Evo 5 and WRX STi bodies.

...and here I though we were friends.

I guess it's truly true about TAOB and Green cars.

Wink

The Tamiya track today was different... But really really fun... clockwise(reversed) with a slight twist in the end (just before entering the sweeper and straight). Track was definitely challenging, but that's what we all want, right? Sooo, in that sense... will there ever again be a TCS regional (heck even Nats) with the track reversed? I heard it only happenned once before... Not really 100% acceptable but would be interesting...

I think they ran clockwise thru 98, and 99 was the first year they ran backwards or anti-clockwise.

I would be surprised if we see it again...since the shaft drive cars don't like turning to the right as much as the left but hey, since I have an MS I'm up for it!

I think that the change in direction was made to have a better chance of clean race starts, also the location of the loop is a factor, if you have 20 heats and figure that a lap averages 20secs, that is almost 7 minutes extra per round. I never had a problem running clockwise, although going flat through the sweeper is alot of fun.

You sir also have a toy car, and you got into a toy accident on a toy track, grow up!!!

Brad, 2 things:

1: If you're flat footing it through the sweeper, you obviously aren't going fast enough

2: Way to steal my sig line...putz. Just for that I'll have to hack you in practice at Trackside

eeyan, YGPM

Gary, don't you have a hole to crawl back into? I hear Tamiya is looking for talented people to laugh at. The first person I thought of is you.
