I might have to work on that

Although in reality I started in GT1, then GT2 and now GT3 with a dabble of mini or F1 on the side. The thing I like about running GT3 is it is easier on parts, tires don't wear quick and it involves silver canned insanity, which is becoming fun again.

Opening the classes to 3 max would give newer classes a fighting chance at staying around for more than 3 years. Three classes is also reasonable to keep up with in a one day race. I have easily done it all last summer racing back to back to back races with a much smaller turnout, which gives you no time to work on stuff.

Any commentary, fellas, on Fred's new rules for "GT4"--motor choice and "recommended" gearing to fit the gear case? I'm frustrated only because I went out and bought a lot of nice big pinions, and for what? Hmmm, may be time to start experimenting with gearing in GT3 again.
My gear case cover fits on my FF03. That's all I am saying.

'O - I actually did read the instructions for once when I built mine. Glad I did, but I do have the aluminun out drives "just in case".

Reenmachine - on the silver cans, no, you are not exagerrating. I have heard rumor that nuclear blast site safety glasses have been ordered for the tech people to wear when they remove the bodies to check.

actually.. the gearing is not too bad... fast as GT3.. temp after 7+ min. 125F-130F.. no fan. that was with a 'just barely mini-class-legal' silver can a couple teeth off (geared lower) from 'suggested'..

gonna run 'suggested' gearing today.. see how it fairs..

these motor can take more than what we are giving it... just depends if you want brakes at the end..

PS-30 Brilliant Blue, I presume? I've got a fresh can waiting for mine, but now I will have to come up with something slightly different to tell them apart.
