newark is 6 hours from l.a. (5 hours if me or eeyan are driving! )

so 8 hours from s.d. as a rough estimate?

But in STi time, you can pretty much divide that in half

I made it home from Stockton, about 500 miles in just over 5 hours

Looks like there will be four trips to Japan this year, not three. The more people go, the more fun it will be.

Randy, from what I heard the shop moved to a new location. I'm not entirely sure of it though. If it is at the same locatio from last year, the track is set up behind the hobby shop in the back parking lot. The surface is asphalt, rutted, on a slight slant with lots of oil stains from the cars. Traction was difficult but can be achieved, however with Tamiya tires, the challenge will be 10 fold. They used Road Rails for barriers so be prepared for a changing track.

Ok Stevens, don't you think you have gone too far...

Now that you have the rules what races are you going to?

I wanted to thank you for some setup help on my 415. It made sense and got to test it over the holidays. I was impressed and it was much easier to drive, which is amazing since you don't have a 415 yet. Although it makes me wonder how fast you have gotten your Evo in the past few months.

Give me a call or drop me a line when you can. It has been great talking to ya.

"There will be four classes that will be run in the finals in August. Those four classes will be announced two months prior to the event. The winner of each class will win a trip to Japan to compete in the Tamiya World Finals held in November."

Hey guys! I'm thinking of running 2 classes this year at the 2 local TCS races. I have an evoIV that I will run in GT1 and I need to pick up another car. I was thinking of running GT2 and can't decide between a TB02 or TA04. I'm pushin towards a TB02. What are the necessary hop ups? Thanks.
