Default Tamiya America 2010 M Chassis Challange lineup

Ok everyone, here is your roster for the 2010 M chassis enduro. This is as of now. The day of the race each team is to submit a roster to me with each team member. People who have room to add someone (teams of less than 5 people) may before the day of the race. I'm excited about our second enduro! We have some excellent teams and it will be a better race than last year. Remember last year we had several teams finish within a couple laps of each other after 6 hours of racing!!! And the most consistent team won, not the team who put down the fastest laps. It was a nail biter all the way to the finish! This year will be no different!

Rodger,

Thank you for posting the team list.

That said, I was on www(dot)vegasinsider(dot)com today to try gain some info. prior to putting money down on the Enduro race. As fate would have it, I could not find the betting lines for your event from any of the standard sources?

I realize that your busy and all, but did you forget to notify Nevada Gaming Commission regarding the upcoming (and arguably the greatest) Orange County based RC Mini Enduro event in the month of July?

Words cannot convey my disappointment in this oversight.

Greatist RC mini event in Orange County??? Try in the whole country IMO!! It is so prestigious we have people coming in from out of state!!! I did notify the Nevada Gaming Commission and they said it is just two close to call...

That was pretty sneaky. Speaking about being sneaky, I made a small addition to the Rules. It is something that was supposed to be on there from the beginning. Other than the rules that are laid out, TCS Rules apply to the Enduro. Now the rules that are listed already are TCS rules with the exception of a couple so this shouldn't be a bombshell to anyone. For example the motor rule has no RPM limit and says you must use a 540J. This means ANY 540J TAMIYA motor can be used. If you want to use a 4 slot, go ahead. It was a 540J. That is an example of an exception. Here is is my favorite TCS rule here:"If a driver finds a loophole within the rules, the exploitation will be deemed illegal at the discretion of the race director" TCS Rule #24. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE ABOUT A RULE OR IF SOMETHING WILL BE ALLOWED CALL ME AND ASK! 1 800 826 4922. Gary or I can both answer any question about the rules. I don't want someone showing up with 2 batteries on their car and complaining that "Well, it didn't say you COULDN'T do it" I will not allow the modification. If anyone has any issues, questions, etc. please call me. I want this enduro to be as much fun as possible. I look forward to seeing everyone next month!

For the right price, I can build "1" battery that may last the entire race. Just give me a mini body and I'll fill it with battery. LOL!

Can anyone tell me the differences between the 51336 and 51361 Porsche bodies. Is it nothing more than the decals? Do either of them have "TT-01 holes" pre-drilled?

They are both basically the same. The 51336 is the "VIP Cup" body, which was meant to be painted black and has gold-colored stickers for its markings. The 51361 body was meant to be painted white with blue trim, with sponsor markings. Otherwise they're the same. Good news for us "GT4" runners is that the dimples on the nose and in the rear windows can easily line up with the body mounts for the FF03. There aren't any pre-drilled holes like for a TT-01 or anything else, if that's what you're wondering. I've run the body on the car already. It's fine, and the rear wing is durable enough. So we'll just have a track full of the world's wackiest Porsches at the Nats.
Now if somebody could just explain to me why some of the decals (and the painting masks) in the package are pre-cut, and others aren't...
