This is a plug, but a funny one. The issue with the TCS nats coverage is hitting the shelves in the next few days, and I didn't realize I caught Charlie Barnes doing...well, just see if you can pick him out of the group photo and you'll laugh your butt off.

And Neil, I have one word for you...Clag

Dude, how can you be a real F1 fan listening to David Hobbes and Steve Matchett and not know what clag is! Just read the coverage man...

Default F201 Set-up

Hey Neil,
Wanted to ask you, can you give me your set-up that you used at the TCS finals. I'm not sure if you gave it out or not! Timmy plans on running Steve's F1RL series and I'm having problems finding a good set-up. The chassis is basically stock!

Thanks!
Max!
You can P.M. me if you want!

There's a whole article Neil wrote on www.tamiyausa.com with his setups and all. It's very well done too.

In the past, I would see the schedule come out in Dec or Jan.

...which is kind of a problem for those of us who travel around the country to these races. Want to get a decent price- and an aisle seat- on a plane ticket these days? You gotta buy waaaaaaayyyyy in advance. Using frequent flier miles? Good luck trying to get a seat on a cross country flight any less than six months ahead of time. I got my tickets to Milwaukee over a month ago.
Let's face it, if your hobby shop is sponsoring a TCS race any time during the first quarter of 2005, you know it by now. So even if Fred only puts up the schedule through March or April, it'll be a big help.

Mr. Medel?

I know I talked to fred two weeks ago about the race here. He said he had a few more details to work out for timimg of events! Remember he also has to work around the non rc hobby shows and events.

Sorry for the useless post, guess it helps to go to the Tamiya site. I went to Hobbytown's site and couldnt find any info on the Newark, CA store. Anyone know a contact # or address for this place, I'd like to see how much of a drive it's gonna be to get there.
