Rules look good - But (always a but), would be nice to allow GT-4 to be a second class for those who wish to participate (like in the past). Just ordered my FF03 and would like to have a chance to race it in anger -

Fred,

The rules look pretty good. Don't look now, but your experience is showing .

GOOD JOB!

Now I need to decide what class to run.........

Spec tires are great and so would a limit to the number of tires we can run for the weekend, but what's not so great is the fact that I have 4-5 sets of brand new B3s mounted and glued, just waiting for my next trip to Aliso. Now they are practice tires, except I won't even have the same inserts.

Oh well, it will probably still be cheaper in the long run. But I sure would like to see some cost estimates for all the spec gear we have to buy to run GT2 or GT3.

Bummin' about GT4.......Got an FF03 Pro on order at my LHS too.

Too bad Fred didn't open it up limited FWD hatchback bodies, such as the Suzuki SX4, VW Golf, and Honda Civic. That would be pretty cool. A front wheel drive Porsche just don't scream "realism", does it.

In Fred's defense they only have 39 VW Golf bodies in stock, 0 Honda Civic bodies in stock, and only 5 of the Suzuki SX4 bodies in stock.

I figured it had something to do with inventory, but I didn't want to speculate.

There's an SX4 waiting for me at the hobby shop.

Theres still 2 1/2 months till the race, am I to believe that they hired the slowest boat of all time to get the goods here?
And with all this spec tire stuff, does that mean that Tamiya is in the Premount business?

I was wondering the same thing.

I wonder if Tamiya Japan, had a large number of premounts done up for the TCS series world wide.
