Food smack talks in the middle of April? Sheesh... too early, everyone's still sleeping... So who's bringing the mayo?! (BTW, I saw the real mayo at RCX... hehe, funny he brought back memories of old TB02 short wheelbase stories! I mean, that's old OLD! )

Let's face it, Mr. Mayo is getting older, and larger, and more balled......

He ain't the 14 year old kid running a Losi JRX Pro at Joel's Trackside Hobbies any more.....

I do miss his mullet tho....

BTW, we missed you this weekend Gary. Maybe we will see you at the Short Bus Race.

Excellent racing this weekend at Trackside's annual TCS Extravaganzobash. Really nice to see all of my Tamiya racing buddies there, and once again I am impressed not only by the sincere hospitality of those who live there, but the depth of talent in that part of the world.

Listening to Scotty read off the list of those who had placed 10th through 4th in each classs before he handed our the podium prizes, I was thinking how so many of them had won or been on the podium in prior regional (or national) TCS events in other years. Amazing.

Thanks again for some wonderful memories!

It was an awesome event!

Best was when someone was running their touring car up and down the carpet hallway at the hotel at 4:30 AM !!!

Why not make GT-3 next year a FWD class with Silver can, GT-2 4wd sedans with "spec" esc's or the Tamiya 12T brushless system and GT-1 17.5 with any esc.

GT2 - totally needs a couple SPEC escs... with a couple motors for options or completely lock it down to 1. Either works for me.

I'm all about the Tamiya branded stuff.. so if they have a brushless system, that works for me also.

I blew up a new 17.5 Ballistic trying to tweak the performance on it using the Tekin V200 software. Really wish I had a SPX that weekend instead. I wound up buying another one and had a good finish for my 1st TCS. Very happy with the experience and will definately be coming back next year! Scottie provides an amazing experience at his track! Thanks again Scottie!

Had a Great time this year in Omaha and at Trackside. Thanks to both facilities for hosting the events.

Too soon for 2011 talk... NAH..

I like the above thinking . As much as I love the speed of GT1, to help grow the class I think the 17.5 / open ESC combo would make it more appealing to a wider audience.

21.5 GT2 would provide some TIGHT racing as well (spec the ESC if so desired), as well as provide a more controllable level of speed to appeal to a wider range of driver skill.

Silver cans, well as long as the RPM limits are in place, it sure makes for fun cheap racing. Bought one right out of the shop at Trackside for $20, broke it in via water dip, dyno'd at 12.8K RPM, and was a ROCKET in my F104. Cant get much easier than that.

The price is right,
The motor is simple,
and you don't need V203 software to make it go fast
