I TQed both GT1 & GT2 with a R35 body in Omaha. I ran the 07 NSX in GT2 a couple times and it was more planted then the R35 but the R35 felt faster in the corners. Laptimes were the same with both..... I think the Winner of GT2 and 2nd place both ran NSX's Im not sure which models. In GT1 Everyone else ran the Lexus Body other then myself.

How is the Thunderbolt Grease Slapper these days?

Is Nellie Gail still well and lookin fine?
The Thunder Bolt Grease Slapper will in fact be at TA, thanks to Mark H. who did me a HUGE favor and painted up a Lexus SC I'm trying in GT3. Nell is on one side and lookin' fine, and Granny's on the other. "There's no such word as 'Lexus' in racing, Nell."

Default Nimh packs for mini and gt3

I plan to use nimh packs that are hobby grade, elite and ib cells, but they are not the famous brands on the roar list (they are from www.cheapbatterpacks.com). Will these be legal for the race this weekend?

Thanks.

I ran the NSX 2007 body in GT2 with a LW wing. Would have liked to try other bodies or wings as the back of my car would get very loose in the sweeper if I didn't let off or turned in too agressive. However, i didn't have room to pack extra gear and the shop sold the last wing set teh day before.

Fred,

Do we need tables and chairs for TCS this weekend.

How about cover ?

Are you getting the tarps to put over the pit area incase of rain?

Thanks for the info.

MINI RULE:
The use of LIPO batteries is permitted in this class, but due to the battery compartment having a rounded profile, the only legal LIPOs for this class must have a rounded hard case. I.E. Orion/Peak 2400, 3200, and 3400 Carbon Edition hard cased batteries, Reedy 2400 and 3400 stick LIPOs.
GT3:
LIPO batteries are limited to 7.4 Volt 30C 2S-1P 3400 mAh maximum capacity to keep GT-3 racing costs down)
